The Department of Health & Counseling Services is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a. m. on Friday. Appointments are preferred; walk-ins are on a space available basis. Call ext. 7840 for an appointment, or come by the front desk at 4920 University Square to make an appointment.
Counseling sessions are generally about 50 minutes in length. Please allow for this time when you call to make an appointment. For your initial visit, please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete brief paperwork.
For medical concerns, there is a physician on duty throughout the week. Two full time registered nurses are also on duty on a daily basis.

All services provided by the Department of Health & Counseling Services are confidential. Information about your participation in counseling will not be disclosed to anyone without your written permission except for rare occasions required by law, including reasonable suspicion of abuse of children; serious danger of violence toward someone else; or serious danger that you may harm yourself unless protective measures are taken.
