Affirmation From Students/Alumni“I came into Oakwood as a transfer student with about a year and a half left and certain circumstances led me to believe that I would not graduate on time, which would have been financially strenuous. Thankfully through prayer and the aid of the amazing faculty in the Health Science and Physical Education department, I was able to graduate in two semesters and as Magna Cum Laude. I truly miss the friends and professors that I met at Oakwood. The professors were so positive and adamant about the students retaining and learning the material. I would recommend anyone who is interested in the field of Health and Fitness to take part in that department and definitely go to Dr. Shaw.”
