Off-Campus Services
The Library webpage is an important connection to resources, services, and staff of the Eva B. Dykes Library.
Off-campus Access to databases
You must be currently registered as an OU student or faculty and have an oakwood.edu e-mail account and password to access the databases. These databases provide scholarly, full-text articles for research and study. Simply go to library’s database page. Follow instructions required. Contact Chris Dewitt at 256-726-7517 or at cdewitt@oakwood.edu if there is any difficulty in accessing the databases.
Research Assistance is available via the telephone whenever the library is open. You may also send requests via email to our reference librarians who make every effort to answer your questions within 8 hours. Put Research Assistance in subject line.
