WHAT WE DO
The Office of Sponsored Programs assists faculty and staff in the identification of funding sources, preparation of proposals, negotiation of agreements, and offer administrative support during the life of the project and close-out of project activities.

The Director of OSP is the designated liaison official of the University, who signs all proposals for externally sponsored activities.

The OSP works closely with the Accounting Department’s Federal Officer to assure that fiscal accountability and compliance is maintained.  The Office protects the University’s eligibility of external funding by ensuring that all sponsored projects (grants and contracts) comply with the University’s general research policies, as well as federal, state and foundation mandates.
