Oakwood University provides Faculty, Staff, and Students with a 100 Megabit Internet connection with the help of Knology as our Internet Service Provider. This connection (shared campus wide) should now provide adequate speed for whatever your network needs are. Our network is based on Cisco technology and runs over a gigabit fiber backbone to all buildings on campus. Along with this technology, we provide wireless network services to many parts of the campus using Cisco wireless access points.
We are always looking for ways to improve our network and keep up with new and ever changing technology. If you have any suggestions or concerns, please let us know by contacting the Information Technology department in the lower level of the Business and Technology building.
