Ephesians 6 [Clear Word]

[Psalm 121] 1 Do I look to the mountains, expecting my help to come from them? 2 No, my help comes from the Lord who made the mountains. 3 He will not let you slip or fall but is always there to hold your hand. 4 He never slumbers or sleeps but watches over His people day and night. 5 The Lord is your keeper; He shades you from the blazing sun. 6 The sun will not hurt you and the moon will not harm you. 7 The Lord will help you so you will not fall into evil. He will preserve your soul. 8 He will watch over your comings and goings as long as you live.

[Ephesians 6] 1 Children, obey your parents unless it goes against God's commands, because that's the right thing to do. 2 Respect your parents, whether they love the Lord or not, because that's the commandment to which God has attached a special promise. 3 Life will be better for you and you'll even live longer. 4 Fathers, don't mistreat your children or make them angry, but love them as members of God's family. Bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, training them to serve others. 5 Servants, obey your masters with respect and singleness of heart just as you would obey Christ. 6 Don't do your job only when someone's watching you. You're not out to please men but to please God, so work from the heart as unto the Lord. 7 Work diligently and cheerfully as if you were working for the Lord, not men. 8 Whatever you do, do it for the Lord, and God Himself will reward you. 9 Masters, have the same attitude toward your servants as if they were your brothers. Don't threaten them. You, too, have a Master who treats you kindly and with affection as He does everyone else. 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and stand in the power of His might. 11 Put on every piece of spiritual armor. The Lord has given you all the weaponry you need to stand against the crafty enemy. 12 We're not dealing with an enemy we can see or get our hands on, but with spiritual beings who were once near the center of power and are now trying to rule this world. The power of these supernatural beings and the force they generate are not to be taken lightly. 13 That's why you must put on the entire spiritual armor God has given you and stand firm, not giving an inch of ground. Then when it's over, you'll still be standing. 14 This is the time to stand. Tighten the belt of truth securely around yourself. Cover your chest with the breastplate of Christ's invincible righteousness. 15 Put on the shoes of the good news of Christ's peace. 16 Take up the shield of faith, trusting in the Lord to stop the flaming arrows which Satan sends your way. 17 Then put on the helmet of salvation and take the sword of the Spirit, which is given you in the Word of God. 18 Finally, pray constantly, as if your life depended on it. Keep alert to the needs of your brothers and sisters and pray for them too. 19 Also, pray for me, that God will give me the right words to say when I stand before Caesar and that He'll help me share the gospel fearlessly to all who are there, even if it leads to my conviction. 20 I'm an ambassador in chains because of the gospel. Pray that I will defend it boldly. 21 I decided to send Tychicus to you to tell you about the conditions I face here and how I am doing. 22 He'll not only tell you about me but will encourage you by telling you what God has done for us. 23 Peace to all of you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 May God's grace continue to be with you and with all who love the Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love
