Religious Worlds

This site offers information about religious traditions that developed in the Middle East or West Asia as well as others from South and East Asia, too.

Linked and locally-authored resources made available here for students in the academic study of religion are supplemented by authorized copies of two resources created by others:

(1) The Fondarosa, a mirror of the original site in Ottawa that contains the writings of Marc Fonda, a scholar in the field of Religious Studies; and

(2) the Shiva Shakti Mandalam, a mirror of a web site in England that is authored by Mike Magee and includes original artwork by Jan Bailey.

If you are a journalist, please consult religionsource and religionlink. If you simply are in a hurry, and do not like to be troubled by details, then see the Big Religion Chart or the CIA World Factbook. If you need a quick reflection of your own religious orientation, then try Belief-O-Matic.
