HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- Oakwood University will be hosting a college quiz competition Sunday that serves as a prelude to the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge.
The event will start at 9 a.m. in the auditorium of the McKee Business and Administration Complex on the Oakwood campus and last throughout the day.
The event will "provide a vital training experience to teams preparing for this year's national championship competition, scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, on March 30-April 3."
The Honda Campus All-Star Challenge has been held since 1989 and more than 75,000 students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities have taken part and won more than $6 million in grants from Honda.
Oakwood won the national title in 2008 and 2009.
