Dean Holiday began working at Oakwood in Public Safety as a patrolman. In 2000, he transitioned to the Division of Student Services, and was serving as Assistant Residential Life Director/Residential Life Coordinator of Holland Hall & Edwards Hall at the time of his passing on May 9, 2012. He also served on the QEP Committee, and played a pivotal role in the development of the “Open Your Mind Lecture Series” (which was renamed the “Sharpen Your Mind Lecture Series” in 2012).
Arrangements have been entrusted to Royal Funeral Home.
The funeral service has been scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2012, at the Oakwood University Church.
