One of the nation's most power preachers and, with his post as chaplain of the U.S. Senate, one of its most prominent prayers, Barry Black, will preach in Huntsville on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013.
Black will be the featured guest preacher for the 11 a.m. service in the Oakwood University Seventh-day Adventist Church, 5500 Adventist Blvd. in Huntsville. Black, an alumnus of Oakwood and longtime friend of fellow alumnus, Dr. Carlton Byrd, the director-speaker for "Breath of Life" television ministries and of the campus church, has traditionally been the guest speaker at Byrd's congregation, wherever that was, on the first Saturday of December, Byrd said.
The service will be taped for broadcast on the international show, "Breath of Life."
