President Delbert Baker has released a letter expressing our heartfelt concern over the recent shootings that occurred on the campus of Northern Illinois University.

Dear President Peters and the Northern Illinois University Family:

The entire Oakwood University family joins us in expressing our heartfelt concern over the recent shootings that occurred on the campus of Northern Illinois University. We are deeply saddened by the loss that the administration, faculty, staff, and students have suffered, and we support you with our prayers during this difficult situation.
