Expectations High for 2nd Season in USCAA
The USCAA's National Champions, Oakwood University Ambassadors, have begun training and conditioning for this season. When practices began on October 1, head coach Tony Oliver and assistant coach Rod Williams, focused on replacing four seniors from last season's National Championship team. But with several new faces on the team to join forces with the nucleus of last year's team, the OU Ambassadors should be prepared to defend their title. There is a high level of interest and expectation on campus to see how the Ambassadors will play in the 2008-09 season.
The Lady Ambassadors are also ready to participate in the USCAA for a second season. If the team's performance last season is any indication of their accomplishments, the Oakwood University Lady Ambassadors are sure to be successful this year.
Be sure to catch one of our games when you're on campus. The support of the alumni of Oakwood University is needed and appreciated.
