Saddened to announce the passing of an Oakwood Student

Oakwood University is saddened to announce the passing of Quinn Norwood, a 20-year-old theology major from New York.  A special prayer service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Oakwood University Church at 5:00 p.m. Counselors will be available for students and employees.  Norwood served as the Special Assistant to the President of the USM, and will be missed by the Oakwood community.

UPDATE: The funeral service for Quinn Norwood will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the North Bronx Seventh-day Adventist Church - 3743 Bronxwood Ave., Bronx, NY 10469-1064.
