Computer Instructor Receives Master’s Degree

Karen Lester Smith (class of 1985), Director of the Technology Certification Program in the Business & Technology Department, recently graduated with honors from Pepperdine University with a Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology.  Karen is certified in the A+ and Network + programs, and is also a Microsoft Certified Master Instructor (for Office 2007).  This master’s degree will enhance Karen’s coordination of computer training in several programs for community members and Oakwood employees. Congratulations, Ms. Smith!
