“College Days” Welcomes Over 700

Enrollment Management reports that over 700 potential students are expected for Oakwood University’s annual College Days, scheduled for October 11-13, 2009. Groups as small as four young people (plus a required chaperone) began arriving on Friday, October 9. Some groups are able to travel by air to Huntsville, but the majority travel in cars, vans, and buses from all over the United States and Canada.

While visiting the campus during College Days, our guests meet and talk with current Oakwood University students, experience residential life, receive information on scholarships and financial aid, meet their future professors, tour the city of Huntsville, and participate in recreational activities.
