The Madison County Coordinated Community Response against Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking Taskforce and Crisis Services of North Alabama invite you to join us in a special service celebrating those who have survived domestic violence and honoring those whose lives have been taken, as a result of domestic violence.

This candlelight vigil is organized every year by Crisis Services of North Alabama, sponsored by the Department of Social Work, and will be held for the third consecutive year on Oakwood’s campus. This is an opportunity to speak out against domestic violence, remember those who have died due to domestic violence, and celebrate survivors of domestic violence through testimonies, and music. Collaboration between agencies has shown to be an effective tool in addressing the issue of domestic violence in the faith community.
