Successful Nursing Site Visit

Thanks toeveryone who assisted with and/or participated in the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) site visit to the Department of Nursing, March 2-4, 2010.  The visit was a great success.  The visitors were very impressed with our program, particularly with the quality of our students.

We now look forward to the next two steps in the accreditation process: the Evaluation Review Panel in late May and the final decision by the NLNAC Board of Commissioners in the fall.  Dr. Carol Allen will be present at the ERP meeting to hear the discussion; she sits on the Board of Commissioners, but of course cannot vote re: our program.

Please continue to pray for the success of the nursing program at Oakwood.
