Dr. Baker Delivers Final Sermon As OU President

Dr. Delbert W. Baker delivered his final Sabbath sermon as the 10th president of Oakwood University on Saturday, July 31, at the Oakwood University Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Huntsville, Alabama.  The theme of his sermon, entitled “The Last Lecture,” centered around three essential points:  (1) keep focused on purpose; (2) be about improvement; and (3) stay connected to community.  Dr. Baker drew his key text of scripture from Mark 13:31-37.
