Committed Takes 1st Prize and Sony Contract on NBC's 'The Sing-off'

It was all over the local news, Facebook, and YouTube -- Committed, the new a cappella singing sensation, has taken the championship title on NBC's 'The Sing-off'. The story was carried by local television station WAFF-TV Channel 48 on its 10 o'clock newscast and in The Huntsville Times.
The headline reads, "COMMITTED WINS! Huntsville a cappella group takes title on NBC's 'The Sing-Off'" and leads out, "Committed, an a cappella singing group from Oakwood University, won a national singing contest on NBC tonight.
"The group was crowned champions on NBC's "The Sing-Off" -- advancing through each episode by winning the approval of the judges. But the title was clinched through fan voting over the phone and the internet.
"Committed sang Michael Jackson's "Hold My Hand" on the show tonight -- leaving judge Nicole Scherzinger in tears.
"Committed edged Street Corner Symphony, a six-man group from Nashville.
First prize is $100,000 and a Sony Music recording contract...."
