Fall 2011 Registration a Huge Success

Oakwood University is happy to welcome its new and returning students for the fall semester 2011. Registration processes have improved, with many positive comments being received from students and their parents. The lines moved smoothly due to an increase of staff members at each station, and an increase in the number of students who had registered online and taken care of documentation prior to arriving on campus.

Enrollment Management reports that 1,747 students have been financially cleared as of August 22, with approximately 350 students still waiting for financial clearance. The student body could exceed the 2,000 mark this semester.

"Kudos!" to the Registration Committee and all who assisted in making registration for Fall 2011 a seamless process. We look forward to many more continued improvements on our way to 100% online registration.
