Oakwood Night at Joe Davis Stadium

The evening of April 4, 2002, was Oakwood night at the ball park. Huntsville's Joe Davis Stadium, home of the Huntsville Stars, was the scene for the Stars' season opening game with the Carolina Mudcats.

The Aeolians sang the national anthem, and Oakwoodites carried the flag out onto the infield. Dr. Baker threw out the first pitch for the game and the season. Despite our best efforts, the Stars fell to the mighty Mudcats. Thanks to WOCG, who sponsored the event, and the Stars for this night of fun and recognition.
