Nurse Graduation Pinning Ceremony

The annual Nurse Pinning Ceremony took place Friday, May 10, 2001, in the Moseley Complex. The guest speaker was Janice Montgomery Preston, a family nurse practitioner, registered midwife, and doctoral candidate at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. The occasion provided an opportunity for the nursing graduates to thank people who were significant to them and to publicly commit to selfless service for others. Our congratulations to Oakwood's future nurses.
